Shellharbour City Council has recently advised that it has received several complaints about alleged anti-social behaviour and damage to environmentally sensitive sites within the wetlands areas in 1881 Tullimbar (refer to Figure 1).

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that these areas are environmentally sensitive wetlands and are not Council-owned but are privately owned land. Therefore, we ask that residents and visitors please avoid entering these areas.

Pending Council approvals, wetland rehabilitation works are planned to be undertaken in these wetland areas in 2023.
