Indeed, our picture perfect and conveniently located new community, nestled between the mountains and the sea in the Illawarra’s beautiful and diverse Macquarie Valley, will be a hive of activity in 2021.

So, let’s preview what’s coming to our development throughout 2021 and what changes you may notice in progress on site if you are visiting the 1881 Tullimbar land sales office over the coming months.

1881 Tullimbar offers new home buyers an abundance of choice, with blocks of land ranging from 300m2 to 1000m2. As of February 2021 both Stage 1 (featuring 71 lots) and Stage 2 (featuring 77 lots) land releases in 1881 Tullimbar are sold out.

March: Stage 2 lots registered

In March we will see the 77 lots in Stage 2 registered and construction commence on its 77 homes. Around the same time we will complete the construction of our premium BBQ and playground facilities in Stage 2. These facilities are open for all 1881 Tullimbar residents to use once they move into their new homes.

April: Stage X1 lots registered

In April, Stage X1, a new land release for 1881 Tullimbar featuring 37 lots, will be registered. With all land in our Stage X1 release already sold, construction will then commence in this stage in April.

July: Stage 1B construction commences

The last few weeks of autumn and the first few weeks of winter will be somewhat quiet in 1881 Tullimbar. But come July our new residential development – conveniently located in the Macquarie Valley and close to   Shellharbour, Wollongong, and Lake Macquarie – will get busy.

Stage 1B, featuring 51 lots, will see construction commence in July. At this stage, a small number of lots in Stage 1B are still on the market.

Spring 2021 at 1881 Tullimbar

As Spring rolls into the beautiful Macquarie Valley and 1881 Tullimbar, our premium new residential community will be a hive of activity. Throughout Spring 2021, many homebuyers who have chosen 1881 Tullimbar as their new community will see their new homes coming together on their sites. It’s a magical time for new home buyers, especially those who are building a new home for the very first time.

November: Two new stages released in 1881 Tullimbar

In November we expect blocks of land in Stage 3 (27 lots) and Stage 4 (51 lots) to be registered, while some final land release stages will come to market in 2022 and 2023.

Infrastructure surrounding 1881 Tullimbar

While a lot of infrastructure development is occurring in 1881 Tullimbar throughout 2021 and the coming years, there’s also much new infrastructure development happening in the areas surrounding our new residential community in Macquarie Valley too.

New major infrastructure projects such as the $630 million Albion Park Rail bypass - Princes Highway upgrade, due to be completed by the end of 2021, will give new home buyers even more reasons to choose 1881 Tullimbar. Once completed the bypass will give 1881 Tullimbar residents a continuous highway road between Sydney and Bomaderry.

2022 and beyond in 1881 Tullimbar

Approximately 250 of the 400 blocks of land in 1881 Tullimbar are now sold. There will be some final land release stages coming in 2022 and 2023, so we encourage new home buyers to stay abreast of all the latest 1881 Tullimbar news. Once fully completed in 2023, more than 400 families will call the 90-acre 1881 Tullimbar residential community home.
